Buying Advice

Choosing a set of Darts
1. Weight
The first thing is to choose your weight. 24g (or close to) is recommended for beginners. Try the schools darts to see what you are comfortable with. They typically range from 12g to 50g, but most pros throw darts between 18 and 26g.
2. Material
Cheaper darts are made from brass, and these tend to be larger- the problem being you cannot group darts as easily. You are advised to go for tungsten, between 80% and 95%.
3. Flights and stems
Do not worry about what flights and stems come with darts, you can easily change them. Flights and stems are down to preference, but remember, they will change the flight of the dart. Tryout different flights and stems from the school sets.
