PHASE 1

Entrants on the day, competed to play against the eight seeded players.

PHASE 2

• The four winners were randomly drawn against seeds 5-8
  
• The three best losers were randomly drawn against seeds 2-4
• One further match was played, and the winner, drawn against seed 1.
