Sponne Summer School Darts
(21-08-2014)

Darts featured at Sponne Summer School for the first time in 2014; where new year 7 students get the opportunity to spend a week engaged in a wide range of activities, prior to starting at Sponne School in September.
On Thursday afternoon, students participated on a rotation of sports activities which included Danish Longball.
Most students had never thrown a dart before, so it was a quick introduction and demo of the basics before students got to try their hand.

All students thoroughly enjoyed themselves, playing a variety of games including highest score, round the world and nearest to bullseye.
At the end of the session, Scott Cornelius had the difficult task of naming the three most impressive participants. With some superb high scoring, and excellent maths skills, the winners were Jordan, Max and Chloe. |
